OF FAYAL TOWNSHIP
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Fayal Town Board will hold a special meeting, Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Fayal Town Hall along with Council Members from the Cities of Eveleth and Gilbert to discuss the results from the Fire Department Consolidation Study completed by McGrath Consulting, Inc. No other business is to come before the Town Board, nor will the Board conduct any other business at this meeting.
The public is also invited to attend. The study was funded by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety State Fire Marshal's Office.
Wanted one volunteer for the Fayal Planning Commission. This a three-year term. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Town Hall.
PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION
Wanted one volunteer for the PUC. This is a three year term. PUC meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
The Fayal Town Board meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 PM at the Fayal Town Hall, 4375 Shady Lane, Eveleth, MN 55734
Public Utilities Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall.
Fire Department Business Meeting is the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM, in the Fire Hall.
Fayal Township Planning Committee meets third Wednesday of every month at 5:30 PM in the Town Hall.

Leaves, needles and light vegetation are acceptable feedstock for composting. Tree branches and trunks are allowed for disposal in the brush pile. Stumps, garbage, lumber, and household trash are not acceptable at this site.
A FINE OF $700 will be given to anyone violating St. Louis County Ordinance 45 for illegal dumping on this site of any non organic waste.
FAYAL ORDINANCE #2013-01 ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE REQUIRES ALL DOMESTIC ANIMALS MUST BE ON A LEASH WHEN OFF OF THEIR OWNERS PROPERTY. DOGS & CATS OVER THE AGE OF 6 MONTHS MUST HAVE RABIES VACCINATION AND HAVE A FAYAL ANIMAL LICENSE. LICENSES ARE AVAILALABLE AT THE CLERKS OFFICE FOR $5 WITH PROOF OF VACCINATION.
